This document is the list of workplace exposure standards (WES list).

The WES list has been updated to reflect WHS ministers’ agreement to reduce the WES for welding fumes (not otherwise classified) from 5 mg/m3 to 1 mg/m3. The change to the WES for welding fumes will take effect when implemented in jurisdictional laws. Contact your work health and safety or mining regulator for information on the laws that apply in your jurisdiction.

For more information about the change please go to the Welding fumes page.
