Annual report

The Safe Work Australia Annual Report is published to inform Parliament, ministers, governments and the community about our performance in delivering improvements to key work health and safety and workers' compensation arrangements across Australia.

Emissions Reduction Plan

Safe Work Australia is committed to the achievement of the Government’s APS Net Zero 2030 target. Safe Work Australia is following the APS Net Zero 2030 target in full, as per the Net Zero in Government Operations Strategy. 

The Australian Government released the Net Zero in Government Operations Strategy in November 2023, setting out the overall approach and action required by Commonwealth entities to achieve the APS Net Zero 2030 target.

Australian Public Service employee census

The annual Australian Public Service (APS) employee census collects confidential information on the attitudes and opinions of APS employees on a range of issues including health and wellbeing, performance management, leadership and general impressions of the APS. It is an opportunity for employees to tell the Australian Public Service Commissioner what they think about working in the APS.
