The purpose of this 2015 study is to estimate the cost of work-related injury and illness to Australian employers, workers and the community.

In 2022, Safe Work Australia published Safer, healthier, wealthier: The economic value of reducing work-related injuries and illnesses. This report uses innovative computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling to estimate how much value could be created within the Australian economy by removing work-related injury and illness.
