If you are a person conducting a business or undertaking (such as a business owner or employer) you have a duty under the model WHS Act to make sure your workplace is safe for workers and people in the workplace. This includes eliminating or minimising the risks from biological hazards, including communicable diseases such as COVID-19 at work, so far as is reasonably practicable.
