Guide for amusement devices

This guidance provides information on how to manage the risks of amusement devices and passenger ropeways. 

This guide is supported by specific information sheets including: 

• operator checklist

• inflatable devices, and 

• annual inspections and records. 

Please note, this guidance is under review following amendments to the model WHS Act and model WHS Regulations. The amendments include new requirements for improved record keeping and operator training for amusement devices and passenger ropeways. An updated version of the guidance reflecting the amendments will be published once finalised.
