It’s been almost 5 years since the launch of the National Return to Work Strategy 2020-2030, our 10-year strategy to drive and leverage national action to improve return to work outcomes for workers with a work-related injury or illness.

We’re now undertaking a mid-term review of the Strategy to ensure it remains influential, responsive and on track, and we want to hear from you!

The mid-term review will consider:

  • how effectively the Strategy drives and leverages national action to improve return to work outcomes for workers with a work-related injury or illness
  • progress against the Strategy’s strategic outcomes and national targets
  • challenges or areas requiring a more dedicated focus in the remaining 5 years of the Strategy, and
  • appropriateness of existing measures and national targets for the remaining 5 years of the Strategy.

Your feedback will help us assess the effectiveness of the Strategy in the first 5 years of implementation and assist in identifying key areas of focus for its remaining 5 years.

To have your say, complete the online survey on Safe Work Australia’s Consultation Hub before 29 November 2024.
