To support the recent release of the Engineered stone prohibition: Guidance for PCBUs, Safe Work Australia has published additional resources to help persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) understand what the ban means and how it affects them now the ban is in place.

The resources highlight key sections, definitions and processes from the guidance and include:

  • infographics on key terms and where to go for more information
  • flowcharts of the notification and exemption processes, and
  • a summary of the guidance in a one-page fact sheet.

To access the new resources, and for more information about the ban, visit Safe Work Australia’s engineered stone ban website. The website also has frequently asked questions and a summary of jurisdictional transition arrangements.

Subscribe to our mailing list and select the ‘occupational lung diseases’ box to receive updates about engineered stone.
