From 1 September 2024, there is stronger WHS regulation of all materials containing at least 1% crystalline silica. This guidance is designed to assist PCBUs understand the WHS requirements in relation to processing a crystalline silica substance from 1 September 2024, to protect workers and others at the workplace from exposure to respirable crystalline silica.
