Downloads
This guide gives major hazard facility (MHF) operators information on how to prove their safety case can achieve safe operation of their facility.
The regulator will ask for this demonstration when you apply for an MHF license.
This guide will help MHF operators submit a safety case that demonstrates to the regulator that:
- their facility’s safety management system will control risks from major incidents and major incident hazards
- current and potential control measures will reduce the risks of major incidents and major incident hazards.
This is one of 9 guides to help MHF operators understand Chapter 9 - Major hazard facilities in the model WHS Regulations.
