The model laws are amended from time to time. Amendments to the model laws do not automatically apply in a jurisdiction. For amendments to the model WHS Act and model WHS Regulations to have effect in a jurisdiction, they must be enacted in that jurisdiction. If you want to know what amendments have been enacted in a particular jurisdiction, you can check the WHS legislation on the relevant official legislation database. For example, to check the Commonwealth WHS Act and Regulations and associated amending instruments, please refer to the Federal Register of Legislation.

Amendments to the model WHS laws
This page shows all historical versions of the model WHS Act and model WHS Regulations. This includes all amending instruments and associated explanatory memoranda and all point-in-time compilations of the model WHS Act and Regulations and associated explanatory memoranda. The point-in-time compilations incorporate all amendments up until the date on which the compilation was published (ie, they show the full text of the relevant law at a particular point in time).
